MATHILDA SCHAFFTER
Creative, hypersensitive and passionate
My name is Mathilda Schaffter, a 24-year-old creative soul who navigates the world of photography with an effervescent passion. My artistic quest is deeply influenced by my fascination with mythology, an infinite source of inspiration that is reflected in my art.
It all started with my passion for horse riding, which then led me to photography, and one thing led to another and horses led me to portrait photography.
With a degree in Art History and Archaeology, my studies have taught me to look at and be inspired by all kinds of works (paintings, sculptures, cinema, etc.) and to sharpen my artistic eye.
My passion for travel has opened my mind to new perspectives and infinite horizons. After spending six months exploring Europe in a van, I fell in love with the varied landscapes and cultures I encountered. Today, I do photo shoots in France, but also in Finnish Lapland, where nature offers breathtaking scenery.
My adventurous side leads me to seek out places off the beaten track to capture authentic moments. I want you to feel the peace and freedom that our beautiful nature has to offer. For me, it's essential to value both you and the environment around you, creating images that tell a story while celebrating the beauty of our world.

For me, photography is much more than a simple memory frozen in time. It's a truly immersive experience, a way of reconnecting with yourself and the present moment. In our fast-paced world, photography invites us to slow down, to observe carefully, to capture the authenticity of each moment. It becomes a gateway to full awareness, a return to the essential.
EXPLORING YOUR MAGIC
But it's much more than that. Thanks to themed photo sessions, everyone can experience their own fairytale, an enchanted interlude in a world that's just like them. Photography allows us to reinvent ourselves, to project ourselves into personal legends, to explore facets of ourselves that we don't always reveal in everyday life.
A LINK WITH NATURE
Connecting with nature plays an essential role in this process. To be in nature, to catch the light, to feel the energy of the elements around us, is to be deeply recharged. Every landscape, every detail becomes a mirror of our own inner self, reminding us that we are part of something much bigger.
For me, photography is a way of living intensely, of celebrating the beauty of the world, while offering everyone the chance to tell their own story, to record their dreams in images and to forge a deep connection with the present moment and nature.

For me, photography is a powerful way of enabling women and men to reconnect with their deepest essence. Through my lens, I help my models rediscover their inner strength, see themselves in a new light and take back control of their body image. Each photo session becomes a journey towards oneself, a personal exploration where authenticity and inner truth are brought to the fore.
EMBODYING ALL YOUR FACETS
My photo sessions offer a space where everyone can reveal a part of themselves that is often hidden. Whether you wish to embody a warrior, a magical figure or a powerful archetype, each themed shoot allows a unique energy to emerge. These portraits capture facets of you that you may not show on a daily basis, but which deserve to be celebrated. This isn't just a photo shoot, it's a transformative experience where you reconnect with your own legend.
CELEBRATING THE BODY
The body is a temple, a work of art that deserves to be honoured. Boudoir sessions are designed to enhance the beauty of the body, without artifice, in all its authenticity. Far from imposed standards, I want everyone to be able to see themselves through gentle, kind eyes, capturing moments of grace where natural beauty takes centre stage. It's an invitation to rediscover yourself, to accept yourself and to celebrate what makes you unique.
A PATH I KNOW WELL...
For a long time I myself struggled with my self-image. I've experienced doubts, complexes, that little voice that makes us believe we're never enough. I'm still working on my relationship with myself. That's why I understand perfectly well the fears, complexes and expectations of my models. My approach is guided by listening, caring and respect. You can be sure that I will create an environment where you will feel understood and valued, ready to let go of your apprehensions.
A HELPING HAND TOWARDS SELF-LOVE
Photography won't make your insecurities disappear overnight. It's not a miracle, but a first step. Each session is an invitation to step out of your comfort zone, an exercise in introspection that allows you to see yourself differently. It's a journey towards self-love, and I'll be there to support you every step of the way. Through these images, you'll discover yourself in a new light, more confident, stronger. Everyone deserves to be seen and to shine in their own light. Self-love is a journey, sometimes a long one, but each step is important. My aim is to help you see the light within yourself, capture it and let it shine. Because deep down, each and every one of us deserves to shine and to live fully in harmony with who we are.

Mon travail est un joyeux mélange de tout ce que j’aime. Chaque photo, chaque mise en scène est le reflet de mes passions entremêlées : la mythologie grecque, la grâce de la Renaissance, la mode et son audace, le monde western avec son mélange de poussière et de paillettes, et bien sûr une touche de fantastique et de rêve. J’aime brouiller les frontières entre les époques, les styles et les mondes, pour créer des images qui racontent une histoire singulière : la vôtre. Mon art est une invitation à explorer, à oser, à se reconnecter à soi à travers la beauté, la force et l’imaginaire.
